The Best Hand Creams We’ve Tried: Our New Favourites

Hand cream isn’t always the most exciting purchase but it is one of the most important. At least for us. We are always looking for the best hand creams. And these three have earned a place among our favourites: a recent Bepanthen discovery, an alverde option we’re glad we tried, and a budget-friendly Balea buy.

If you’re looking for the best hand creams to add to your everyday routine, here’s our shortlist of tried-and-loved picks.

Bepanthen Derma Regenerating Hand Cream: Our Standout Favourite

The Bepanthen Derma Regenerating Hand Cream is our newest discovery and the favourite of this trio. The tube is 50 ml. Designed for very dry and sensitive skin, it’s the one that has particularly impressed us: it works well, and we’ve loved using it.

It is not the cheapest but it works perfectly. Bepanthen has been or favourite brand for years – we use their creams for everything – and this new discovery is regenerating the skin wothout leaving any residue. The skin stays soft, and this is money well spent.

All three creams deserve their place here, but if we had to choose just one, Bepanthen would get our vote.

alverde Intensive Hand Cream: Another Favourite Worth Trying

The alverde Intensive Hand Cream with organic pomegranate and shea butter is another hand cream we’ve tried and really liked. It is formulated for very dry skin and comes in 75 ml and 30 ml sizes.

It’s a welcome addition to our handcream arsenal since last autumn: it really helped in the october weather and the hands retained their smoothness for quite some time.

Balea Urea Hand Cream: Our Budget Pick

Balea Urea Hand Cream is the affordable favourite of the bunch. With 5% urea, this little tube has won us over as it helps the hand retain moisture. And its very low price makes it even more appealing. Also worth mentioning is that this comes in two sizes (100 and 30 ml) and the small 30 ml one is perfect to carry in your handbag every day. Or in every handbag you use.

If price is a deciding factor, this is the one we’d point you towards first. We liked all three, but Balea earns a special mention for being such a budget-friendly find. Both Balea ans alverde are available at dm.

Which Hand Cream Would We Choose as the best hand cream?

Bepanthen is our personal standout, Balea is our pick for a small budget, and alverde is nicely rich. These are our own favourites, rather than an exhaustive ranking. We bought all of them with our money, this is not a promotion.
