Linea Aspera vystoupí v červnu v Kasárna Karlín
Coldwave duo Linea Aspera se vrací do Prahy. V Garážích karlínských Kasáren vystoupí již 4. června 2022.
Záliba v coldwave, minimal synth elektronické hudbě a analogových synťácích přivedla Ryana Ambdridge a Alison Lewis (aka Zanias) dohromady již v roce 2011. Tehdy svou debutovou eponymní nahrávku vytvořili ve studentském bytě v Londýně a vydali ji u Dark Entries Records. Po několika koncertech se dostali do povědomí posluchačů po celé Evropě, nakonec však kapelu rozpustili na neurčito.
V roce 2019 vydali doposud nezveřejněné materiály jako předzvěst návratu dua na scénu. Po svém znovuzrození oznámili několik koncertních termínů po Evropě, o rok později pak vydali druhé album ‚Linea Aspera LP II‘, které pražským posluchačům představí 4. června v Kasárna Karlín. Linea Aspera to perform in Prague this spring
The coldwave duo Linea Aspera is returning to Prague this spring. They will perform in the Garages of Kasárna Karlín on 4th of June 2022.
Linea Aspera consists of the synths & programming of Ryan Ambridge and the vocals of Alison Lewis aka Zanias. First drawn together in 2011 in London through a shared passion for coldwave, minimal synth and electronic body music and a collection of vintage analogue synthesizers.
Nine months of writing and recording in a student flat culminated in the release of their self-titled album in September, 2012 on Dark Entries Records. After a short run of well-received live shows in London and around Europe, the project was put on hiatus indefinitely.
In 2019 they self-released cassette tapes that preceded their debut album on an LP titled ‘Preservation Bias’, and this was followed by a reactivation of the project both in composition and performance. Linea Aspera’s second LP was self-released in September, 2020.
This spring they will come to Prague to play the new record on the 4th of June. Tickets to Kasárna Karlín are available for 350 CZK via GoOut.
